With the iconic Victoria and Albert Museum nearby to Bluebird Chelsea, we are offering guests the chance to enjoy a special two course lunch with an Undressed: A Brief History of Underwear exhibition ticket for £35 per person for the month of January.
‘Undressed: A Brief History of Underwear’ explores the fascinating and sometimes controversial history of underwear design from the 18th century to the present day. The exhibition looks at the intimate relationship between underwear and fashion and its role in molding the body to a fashionable ideal, with cut, fit, fabric and decoration revealing issues of gender, sex and morality.
This fascinating and thought provoking story is told through over 200 objects. Garments designed for men and women are displayed alongside advertising material, fashion plates, photographs and films to bring new insights into the most personal garments in our wardrobe.
The exhibition is open daily between 10am and 5:30pm, enabling you to enjoy a delicious lunch here at Bluebird before or after your visit to the V&A – just get your friends and make a day of it!
